Born in Salvador, Bahia, Bruno is passionate about the sound of the berimbau and its making. Practicing this holistic form of art, capoeira, for 25 years, he has visited several countries in Europe, Africa, and Asia, and developed work with capoeira in Siberia, where he lived for almost 7 years. Today, he resides back in his homeland, Salvador, the land of joy, and the charms of capoeira's ancestry.
