International Capoeira Seminar: Há gosto para Angola Palmares

August  26-29, 2026 | Salvador - Bahia, Brazil

Join us for one of the most significant events in our community. 40 years of tradition in Bahia! A deep immersion into Capoeira featuring renowned masters, lectures, open discussions, and plenty of vadiação. Check out the full schedule below and secure your spot!


🗓️ Event Schedule

Day 1: August 26 (Wednesday) – OPENING

  • Location: Dique do Tororó (In front of Habib's restaurant)

  • 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Opening Lecture

  • 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM: Welcome Roda with all participants


📍 Important: From August 27 to August 29, all activities listed below will take place at the Ginásio do Clube dos Bancários (Ladeira dos Aflitos).

Day 2: August 27 (Thursday)- Activities

Morning:

  • 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Class with a G.C Palmares Mestre

  • 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: 2º Class with G.C Palmares Mestre

Afternoon / Evening:

  • 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM: 3º Capoeira Class 

  • 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM: 4º Capoeira Class

  • 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM: Roda de Conversa (Discussion Circle)

  • 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM: RODA DE VADIAÇÃO


Day 3: August 28 (Friday)

Morning:

  • 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Class with [Guest/Master's Name]

  • 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Class with Mestre [Master's Name]

Afternoon / Evening:

  • 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Roda de Conversa (Discussion Circle)

  • 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Batizado

  • 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM: Coffee Break

  • 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM: RODA


Day 4: August 29 (Saturday) - Final Seminar Day

Morning:

  • ✨ Free Morning (Rest or explore the city with Capotour)

Afternoon:

  • 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Class with Mestre Nô

  • 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Traditional Folk Performance

  • 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Grand Roda de VADIAÇÃO

    Day 5 (Optional) : August 30 (Sunday) – Capotour

    • Activity: Island Tour with Capotour 🏝️

    • Destinations: Itaparica Island & Ilha de Maré

    • Schedule: :8:00am - 5:00Pm

    • Meeting Point: Terminal Turístico Náutico da Bahia
      Enjoy a beautiful day exploring the bay, relaxing on the islands, and sharing moments with the Capoeira community!
